After your finished writing your research article, you have to proofread it. Only then is it ready to be sent for publication.
The next steps to get your article published are as follow:
In order to publish an article, you first need to find a journal in which you want to publish the article. If you are unaware of the procedure of publications you can find out each journal's information by simply searching in popular search engines.
On the homepage of the journal, look for the link through which you can submit your work. For some journals, it is on the top right corner of the page but it varies frMonetizeom journal to journal. Register yourself as an author and enter the information which they ask for such as email, name etc. Now you are ready to access your page and can maybe see some of your already submitted research work.
Be careful with the authors' instructions, as they vary from journal to journal and adjust your article's format according to the instructions. These instructions may comprise details about how to prepare the figures, tables and/or supplemental material of your research work. You can also learn about the maximum number of words allowed, about how to prepare the list of references, etc.
For the submission process per say, you will need to prepare the following information:
Authors' names and their emails and affiliations.
Postal address, phone number, fax number, email address and name of the corresponding author.
A list of preferred reviewers.
The article's title.
A brief summary of you research (i.e. the abstract).
A list of keywords.
The total word count.
A cover letter.
Your paper's files which include title, manuscript, abstract, references etc.
The tables and figures.
Now it is the time to submit your scientific paper. With all the documents mentioned above prepared, it should be really easy to do. The process of submission can be summarized in 4 easy steps are as follows:
First of all, you will need to provide information about the author, title of the manuscript, abstract, and number of files submitted.
Second, you'll upload all the files and organize them in order in which you want to present them as a final document.
Then, you will have to approve the final document by downloading a final version of it. If you are not satisfied, you'll be able to change it by clicking on the change or fix links.
Finally, you'll complete the submission process by sending the final document for evaluation.
One important thing is to make sure that the final document has been sent correctly. Remember that once your scientific paper is sent, it is not possible to apply changes to it. You should also receive a submission confirmation email from the journal in the hour following submission. After that, it takes generally 2 weeks to 3 months to receive a response from the reviewers.
